Leah's Story
After completing high school, I moved to Melbourne for full time dance training, a big leap from country Victoria. The intense and challenging time was full of personal growth. At the peak of my training, I found my physique beginning to breakdown.
A lack of education around nutrition led me to make poor eating choices, followed by extreme physical stress, inadequate sleep and emotional turmoil,
I hit a low point. A serious injury during training halted
a promising future in the performing arts.

I gained a new respect for my body beyond dance during rehabilitation, which redirected my career into the fitness industry. As a Personal Trainer, I was highly motivated to put myself in my client’s shoes. I trialed many exercise prescriptions and fad diets that drove more unhealthy habits and physique goals.
My body once again suffered.

Constant colds and flus, food intolerances, hormone irregularities and
heightened anxiety during this time saw me seeking holistic medicine.
I worked with my practitioner and found I had 2 auto-immune conditions, vitamin and mineral deficiencies from which I battled for the several years.

Feeling frustrated and defeated, I felt that personal training no longer felt fulfilling. To help both myself and clients, I made a life shifting choice to attend university. Commencing studies at Latrobe University in Public Health,
after 2 years I redirected studies to a Bachelor of Health Science (Nutritional and Dietetic Medicine) at Endeavour Collage of Natural Health in Melbourne.
I had finally found my calling.

I use this foundation to motivate and educate patients.
I feel deeply connected to helping patients avoid frustration,
ongoing pain and confusion around health.
I am driven to make health easy and approachable, for lifelong well-being.
